COMPSAC 2013 Special Sessions include the Doctoral Symposium, Fast Abstracts, the Poster Session, and Industry Papers. Please scroll down to the appropriate section below for more information on these special sessions.

Doctoral Symposium

The COMPSAC Doctoral Symposium will provide a forum for doctoral students to interact with other students, faculty mentors, industry and government. Students will have the opportunity to present and discuss their research goals, methodology, and preliminary results within a constructive and international atmosphere.

- Page limit: 4 pages maximum
- Presentation: Poster
- Registration: Student registration is allowed. One-day pass registration is not allowed for students of Doctoral Symposium papers.

Fast Abstracts

This special session will be applicable especially for researchers and engineers who would like to present a new, early and work-in-progress idea, method, analysis and so on.

- Page limit: 2 pages maximum
- Presentation: Oral
- Registration: Full registration is required

Poster Session

This session will also be applicable for those of Fast Abstracts, but will provide the opportunity for more discussions through poster presentations.

- Page limit: 2 pages maximum
- Presentation: Poster
- Registration: One-day pass registration is allowed, but Full registration is encouraged for comprehensive and more fruitful participation to COMPSAC

Industry Papers

Industry people are particularly welcome to submit papers to this session, addressing new technologies and products, industrial practice reports and so on.

- Page limit: 2 pages maximum
- Presentation: Oral
- Registration: Full registration is required

Special Session Deadlines
